Rainy Days

Rainfall
Sitting here looking out my window
I see water pellets crawl
I need my caffeine fix
Especially now
This weather was made for rest
But there is no rest for the weary
Hail hits the roof
As I take a sip of tea
To calm me
The glow from the computer screen
Is the only light I am willing
To have right now
Praying the power doesn’t go out
Nothing worse than being alone
In a blackout
The weather breaks
Only for the moment
To give way to more gloom
Rain
Rain
Go
Away
